Overview
Monsieur Leroy, big boss of the shoeblack company of the same name, is harsh with every member of the personal but with one: Camuset, a worker somewhat simple, some even call him a simpleton. Gossip and is running about this mysterious tenderness towards a very humble member of the team. Some whisper that Camuset might be a natural son of the general manager. The truth is totally different and linked to a family secret that Camuset, less naive than people think will find out and exploit to his advantage and that of his friend Jean who is deeply in love with Lucienne, the boss daughter.
