Henri Hasbani

A master storyteller of his time, Henri Hasbani was born in 1950 in Beirut, Lebanon. He was particularly active from the 1970s to the early 2000s, and his work mainly focused on drama and political thriller genres, with his most renowned films being "The Silent War" and "Shadows of the Past". Although he never won an award at a major film festival, his films were highly respected and he was known for his gripping narratives and poignant commentaries about war-torn Lebanon.
